Running your practice shouldn’t run you into the ground.

Let me take the operational chaos off your plate so you can get back to the work only you can do.

As a group practice owner, you wear a lot of hats:

You want to lead, but you’re stuck putting out daily fires.
You have a vision for where you’re headed, but no space to actually make it happen.
You care about your team, but you can’t be everywhere at once.
You need help, but you don’t have the budget to hire someone full-time.

That’s where I come in.

“You’re basically a CEO for hire to do the shit I can't do or don't want to do.”

Anonymous Group Practice Owner

More than an admin. Not quite a business coach.

Think of me as your practice’s behind-the-scenes partner, keeping operations running smoothly so you can get back to what matters.

I’ll be your second set of eyes, extra hands on deck, and collaborator for making decisions. I help owners free up their schedules & brains so they can dedicate energy to what they actually care about.

Whether it’s helping with day-to-day operations or covering your leave,
I’ve got your back.

Your Practice Partner &
CEO of Getting Shit Done

I’ve always had a soft spot for messy, meaningful work.

I’ve been running my own private practice since 2018, and in that time I’ve worn a lot of hats. One thing has stayed the same through it all - I care a lot about a lot of things. Making sure things stay tidy on the backend, managing my caseload, and paying the bills on time (and myself!) - I know what it’s like to juggle it all.

After years of working as a dietitian in anti-oppressive care spaces, I followed my heart and decided to focus solely on supporting clinicians and owners like you grow their badass businesses. If you’re looking for someone who just *gets it* when it comes to running a values-based business and can confidently step into your practice, I might be your guy.

You can read more about me here and about the other leg of my private practice here.

OK I'M IN, LET'S CHAT

You wouldn’t trust just anyone with
your business.
And you shouldn’t!

I want to learn the pulse of your business
so I can step in without stepping all over.

You’re the visionary. I’m the integrator.

“As the visionary, organization and details are not my strong suit, which is where Charlie comes in.”

“With Charlie’s background in running their own business in a therapeutic space, they understand first hand business systems and needs unique to private practice and group practice. This knowledge combined with their knack for creativity and detail orientation makes them excellent at what they do.”

What even is a Fractional Operations Partner?

book a call

TL;DR you’ll get part time, high impact operational leadership to keep your group practice in tip top shape.

As your Fractional Operations Partner (aka COO, integrator, or all-things-operations person), I bring structure, strategy, and support to the parts of your business that often feel overwhelming:

  • Operational Strategy — Crafting and implementing plans that boost efficiency, productivity, and long-term sustainability.

  • Process Optimization — Spotting bottlenecks and creating streamlined systems that save time, energy, and money.

  • Project Management — Integrating your big dreams into your practice, keeping things on track and on budget.

  • Scalability Planning — Building systems that grow with your team and your practice.

  • Risk Management — Anticipating challenges and developing safeguards so you can move forward with confidence.

  • Interim Leadership — Stepping in for leave coverage or transitional periods to keep things steady.

  • Cost Efficiency — Delivering top-tier operational expertise at a fraction of the investment of a full-time executive.

I specialize in human-centered business practices, meaning that every policy, system, and workflow is designed to align with your values and nurture your team culture. Whether you’re expanding, navigating a transition, or simply ready to stop drowning in admin work, I’ll help your practice thrive — so you can stay focused on the meaningful work of caring for your clients and your team.

Fractional operations services are particularly helpful for owners who are

  • avoiding or putting out a fire help!

  • or planning for a leave brb!

“Working with Charlie is an excellent investment for clinicians that want to show up more consistently in their business.”

“Charlie's strengths lie in their dietitian-specific approach, personalized coaching, and finding great resources. If you're ready to work on systems in your business Charlie is a great resource.”

Why work with a Fractional Operations Partner?

Between supporting your clients, leading your team, and keeping the business side afloat, it can feel like there’s never enough of you to go around.

That’s where I come in.

As your integrator, I help carry the operational load
so you can breathe again.

That means you’ll get:

  • Time Back for What Matters — Step out of the weeds so you can focus on your clients, your team, and the bigger vision for your practice.

  • Expertise That Fits Your Stage — You don’t need “one-size-fits-all” solutions. I bring the right level of support for where your practice is at (and where you want it to go).

  • Flexible Partnership — Sometimes you need ongoing leadership, sometimes just a thought partner, and sometimes leave coverage. My role flexes with your needs.

  • Fresh Perspective — It’s hard to see what’s not working when you’re in it every day. I bring a clear outside view to spot opportunities and simplify what feels complicated.

  • Smoother Growth — With streamlined processes and values-aligned systems, you can grow without burning out yourself—or your team.

  • Fewer “Oh No” Moments — I help catch potential issues before they spiral into bigger headaches.

let's book your project or leave!

“Charlie was great to work with! They were able to help me work through my SOP, making it easier to interpret and help me split tasks between my two administrative assistants.

Over the two months we worked together, I revamped the job descriptions and anticipate smoother operations with onboarding new clients and having an efficient administrative team.”

Step away with confidence - I got you.

If you’re planning (or hoping for) time away from your business, you deserve to step away without worrying that everything will fall apart.

Whether it’s a parental leave, vacation, sabbatical, or something else, I step in to keep operations running smoothly, support your team, and maintain the systems that keep your practice thriving.

With my guidance, you can take the time you need, knowing your business is in capable hands and ready for you when you return.

leave coverage details

“There are very few people I would trust to manage my business and cover my leave, and Charlie is one of them.

Charlie covered my 3 month parental leave and allowed me to fully take that time off without worrying about or thinking about my business. They are incredibly organized and detail-oriented, and professional while also being compassionate and kind. Charlie allowed me to step away from my business for an extended period of time and trust that it would be taken care of. I can't recommend their services more highly!”

FAQs

  • We will plan to meet with some kind of regularity, which will change depending on what you need help with. If things really need some TLC, we might meet weekly for awhile and taper off as things cool down.

If I’m helping manage your leave, I like to plan a check-in within the first few weeks if possible to give you assurance. We would also plan to check-in as you transition back to work. Otherwise, we can plan for updates or check-ins as needed.

  • Annoying answer: it depends! Each project timeline can vary depending on what you need. Many systems-based projects can take around 6 months, and covering a leave will include a bit of buffer time before and after. For example, if you go on a 4-month leave we would most likely train me in your practice for a few weeks beforehand and give you a few weeks to settle back in as I transition out.

Once we’ve had a chance to discuss your business needs I’ll be able to give you a much clearer picture of anticipated timeline, and we’ll check in throughout the process to gauge if we need more or less time.

  • Another annoying answer: it depends!

Ballpark: Smaller projects can range roughly between $750-$950, and larger projects can range between $1k-4k. The final cost of your project/leave will vary depending on timeline, scope of work, etc.

Once we’ve had a chance to talk and assess what you need I can give you a much clearer estimate. I promise to be transparent about costs the whole way through.

Connection chats are free and a great place to start!

  • Most of my work is done virtually, but if you have in-person needs we can discuss allocating for travel expenses and per diem needs, in addition to my regular fees for service. Once we’ve had a chance to talk and assess what you need I can give you a much clearer estimate, and I promise to be transparent about costs the whole way through.

  • Solopreneurs welcome here! While I specialize in supporting group practices, I’m also happy to support you in assessing and reimgining systems, preparing to grow, and more in your solo practice.

  • No, a Fractional Operations Partner/COO/integrator is a collaborative partner in your business. You’ll get a blend of guidance AND someone who actually gets in and does the work for you. I won’t just direct, I’ll do it.
